Invisible Feelings: LOVE

I’m starting a blog segment called “Invisible Feelings” because some of us tend to ignore all the different emotions the human body can feel.  I’m going to share my experiences through some of those emotions starting today with LOVE.

My understanding of love reached new heights when I learned that I was becoming a daddy.  It finally clicked for me the reason my parents were the way they were to me, the pride they felt with each of my successes, and their willingness to give everything to their child.  I don’t think there was a more proud moment when I saw that ultrasound and the show he or she put on for us, reaching for their toes, yawning, and practically dancing before our very eyes.

Before you even take your first breath, before you even see the world with your own eyes, I can honestly say I have enough love coming your way than the distance to the sun.  I’m a changed man already.  I’m more thankful than ever to be alive.  I can’t wait to hold you in my arms and shield you from harm.  Before I even meet you I already love you Baby C.
